Meet Our Guest

Mila Johansen is a public speaker, writing coach, teacher, and writer. She is a best-selling author of five books. Mila teaches screenwriting, creative writing, public speaking and is also a writing coach. She loves giving people permission to write their Short Books and teaches them how to do it. The Short Book can be used by entrepreneurs to become experts in their field, to be a calling card, or as the outline for a longer book. Mila’s book “From Cowgirl to Congress”, is about her famous suffragette grandmother, Jessie Haver Butler, who put together the Pulitzer School of Journalism, spoke beside Bernard Shaw AND Eleanor Roosevelt several times. In her early 90s, she often shared the podium with Gloria Steinem and Marlo Thomas and took Mila along. Mila lives on her organic citrus ranch in Northern California with her husband, four dogs, and a cat.

Episode Synopsis

Our special guest Mila Johansen has made writing and publishing “the short book” for entrepreneurs and writers, super easy and accessible. She is also the inventor of “the modular book”. Everyone has at least one book to write, and it’s never been easier. Did you know the shortest book you can publish on Amazon, with a spine, is 36 pages? Anyone can write a 36-page book about something they know about in a day or two and self-publish it in a week or two. Watch the full interview with our host Tony Petrozza to get an insight.
