Meet Our Guest
Oanh Kim Lam is the owner of Ventea Vent Life Coaching, LLC. She is a graduate from Temple University in Psychology, Rutgers University in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a post Master graduate from Rider University with a Certificate in Life Coaching. Her educational/ work history background of 20-plus years has been in direct care and human services. She created Ventea Vent Life Coaching because, after years of working in her field, she wanted to create a confidential place for individuals to vent, to work on everyday life issues relating to stress, anxiety, self-esteem, loss of passion, and work-related issues, family and work-life balance. People with a mental health diagnosis have a place to go for support. What about the average person who is just struggling with everyday issues, who do they turn to for support? Their Life Coach of course.
Episode Synopsis
Tune into our latest episode to find out how to get support in the absence of natural support. Oahn Kim Lam is a venting coach her background and training is in mental health. Recently she went back to obtain a Master Certificate in Life Coaching and her niche is Venting. Why venting? As an ex-therapist and counselor, she realized that every journey starts with one step. Venting is what she believes the very first steps to express how we feel about our lives. We vent to express areas of our lives we are not satisfied with. From that first step. Small, small steps to self-improvement. No major project… just everyday things that would help improve the person’s overall level of function, content, and wellbeing.
